Your visit
The museum season starts in April and lasts until October. During this time, in addition to the permanent exhibition, there is also an annually changing special exhibition. The Ritterhaus Bubikon is also open during the rest of the year for guided tours, events and special occasions such as the Christmas market.

Due to the many stairs, the Ritterhaus is only partially accessible for people with walking difficulties.

The museum tour includes numerous stairs and thresholds that cannot be negotiated by wheelchair. People with mild walking disabilities will find several seating areas throughout the museum.
The paths around the Ritterhaus are covered with gravel. Cat’s eye paving has been laid around the ground-level bistro. A barrier-free toilet is available and accessible via the gravel path.
With advance notice, it is possible to use a disabled parking space directly in front of the building. Assistance dogs are allowed in all areas of the museum and garden.

The Ritterhaus Bubikon is easily accessible by public transport or by car. S-Bahn S5 or S15 to Bubikon station, then approx. 5 minutes by foot (the way is signed) or by bus 880 to the Ritterhaus stop.
Motorway (A53) to exit Rüti-Hombrechtikon, then keep in the direction of Bubikon and follow the signs to Ritterhaus.
