For thousands of years people have used herbs and spices in their variety: herbs are used in the kitchen for making food and for making food more tasty or lasting, or for curing various illnesses or for good health and to increase one’s personal well-being. In our epochal herb garden, the usage is explained on panels for each plant.

Nature is en vogue again and many people are looking for opportunities to apply its effects. It has always been like this. Before the development of modern pharmacology and the chemical industry in the 19th century, the application of natural herbal substances was essential for medical purposes.
