Johann Jakob Vogel’s collection of arms

To date the collection of arms and armour of Johann Jakob Vogel (1813-1862) amazes all our visitors. Vogel, the son of a venerable merchant family, was an enthusiastic collector of antique arms. He donated nearly 220 arms to the Ritterhaus Bubikon and they have been exhibited here since 1947.

The Hotz Family coin collection

The gem of the Museum is the Hotz family coin collection. The exhibition shows an assortment of more than 400 coins. These coins give record of the Order and the Grandmaster from 14^th to 18^th century . The Bubiker Hotz-Collection is one of the all-embracing Collections relating to the Order of St. John.
