Permanent Exhibition
The Knights’ House (Ritterhaus) at Bubikon is a former commandery (administrative centre) of the Order of St. John and is regarded as the best preserved Commandery of the Order in Europe. The historical importance of the building can be perceived during a visit of the museum.
The permanent exhibition provides diverse information about
- Medieval sponsoring and provision for afterlife
- the Commendary of Bubikon and local politics
- Vassals of Christ: Knights of St. John and of Malta
