The Ritterhaus
The Ritterhaus remains closed for the winter from 1 November to 31 March. We are pleased to welcome you in the spring.
The Ritterhaus Bubikon is considered the best preserved commandery of the Order of St. John in Europe. Its history dates back to the year 1192. Since 1936 it has belonged to the then founded Society of the Ritterhaus Bubikon. This society saved the unique medieval building from downfall and established a museum about the house and the orders of knights. Since 1959 the Ritterhaus has been under protection of the federal state. Today it is a cross-regional meeting place.
